Blogs, Podcasts, Social Networking as PD
Why follow educational blogs? Why blog? Why listen to podcasts? Why create podcasts? Why join a social network site surrounding your content area? These are questions that peaked my attention years ago. I have never been much of a "lurker" and am not fond of the term, but lurking or exploring what is out there is a good place to begin answering these questions for yourself. Once you are comfortable, jump in and participate in the conversations by commenting or joining a site-- or go crazy and create your own site. Here are a FEW of the MANY blogs, podcasts and social networking sites related to Ed Tech I follow and sometimes interact with. There is purposefully a mix of some of the "lesser known" and "big names."
